Chapter 13

Chapter 13 is aimed at anyone who has a regular income and is therefore often referred to as the "wage earner's plan". The debtor has to produce a repayment plan typically running over the course of three to five years. The main advantage of filing Chapter 13 is that it can halt the foreclosure of your property which will become subject to an automatic stay once the repayment plan is submitted.
